GAMES

Esquire Prototype Game

A prototype game made at RMIT over four weeks with two other uni students. I focused on creating art assets and animations as well as general aesthetic and team organisation.

Players assume the role of a a squire helping meet the needs of the trusty knight. It's an endless runner/ puzzle hybrid. The game was partially inspired by Monty Python's The Holy Grail.

World Building Hive Creature Project

A university project tasking me with creating a world. This place was home to these living but static hive creatures  that are host to critters living inside. These creatures lay predominately still, serving as a vessel for bugs until the hive is threatened and these rocky terrifying creatures come to life. Poachers have been looking for the valuable insides of these Hive creatures- unfortunately they've all come to a morbid end in this swamp.

This project involved a lot of concept art and research, in addition I modelled these creatures in Zbrush as well as other environmental assets.

Unititled Codex Game - Prototype Game

A prototype narrative/world building experience set within the confines of a retro futuristic  scientific device. The wonderful  ideas, writing, humour and actual game making was provided by my gorgeous and extremely talented partner Jenny Kilroy. I made concept art, ideas and wrote creature logs. I also designed UI interfaces/ the device with the help of Jenny.  In this project we largely wanted to focus on world building, humour and art.

Roller Golem

A short 3D platformer set in a strange floating prison. Made as a university project with a close friend Darcy Phillips, the game featured a unique clay like aesthetic. I made the models for the game, developed ideas and drew the concept art. The game was made without the use of polygons using two experimental Unity Plugins: Clayxels and Mudbun.

Players roll around as a small little clay guy, who can build momentum and jump around to get to 'Golopolis.' I would like to revist these concepts someday into a larger experience as the project was very ambitious but suffered a lot of technical issues.

Misc Games

An assortment of animated characters/sprites and models mostly made for game jams and university projects.
